I like your pictures. Like most Asian cities, Bangkok has such depths of ugliness and heights of beauty.
I used to live on Soi 49 in a strange kind of apt house, where my room was barely bigger than the double bed. The nice thing about it were the gigantic windows that looked out over the rooftops.
Located at the darkened end of a narrow alleyway, the vibrant colors draped on this spirit house make it stand out from the shadows like a neon flame.

What is a spirit house? The picture is fascinating on it's own but I'm sure a description would only enhance the post.
